I HATE writing about myself. But to know the history of Realty World Wichita means you have to know how I started this company.
I spent 7 years as an U.S. Army Medic. Loved it, and came out of the Army ready to be a doctor. Took lots of schooling, worked in clinics, and discovered that Civilian Medicine has to worry about MONEY and INSURANCE. None of that in the Military.
I had 2 hobbies: Photography, and working on cars. I was an OK photographer with Sports and Portraits. Hated Weddings and groups, so I became a Mechanic. Worked my way up the ranks to become a service manager at a couple of places.
BUT - I love PEOPLE and Houses. Tracy (my wife) suggested that I hated working on cars, getting dirty, and the arguments from upset auto owners. She noted I was ALWAYS stopping by construction, or pointing out where someone lived. Larry Levich was a customer, and I asked how to get started in Real Estate.

In 1997, I became a REALTOR, 1999, I earned my Broker's license. Several Builders approached me to start my OWN company marketing NEW homes. In 1999, I was printing in Color, drawing floor plans in AutoCad, using Photosoftware to create Renderings from pictures, and more. They LOVED my work, so off I went.
2004 came, Tracy and I were looking for a way to expand our business to Resale. We looked at several franchises - then chose Realty World. They were a FRESH look in Wichita, Flexible allowing the kind of BRANDING I encourage in my Agents. YOUR brand is what makes the company WORK. Every franchise has SUCCESS and FAILURE. What you bring to your city is what makes YOU work.
Where are we NOW? 2 offices continuing my vision - SMALLER more INTIMATE offices. Situated in EAST and WEST Wichita for EASY access by your clients. An eye open for a 3rd location as the economy improves. Virtual EVERYTHING so you can work from EITHER LOCATION, your HOME, your CAR, where ever you have Internet access. We've grown STEADILY - NO big growth spurts CHALLENGING our ability to deliver the QUALITY my agents deserve, but steady enough to move forward prudently.

Tracy Cassidy (my wife) and I have 5 kids between us, 3 are married, and only 1 Grandchild (tho I expect more shall follow shortly!). I played Soccer, we LOVE our Bichon Frise, and Hawaii. I was BORN in Wichita, and except for my Army days, lived here all my life!
